What Your Small Business Can Learn From Four Seasons Total Landscaping

With the 2020 election in the rearview mirror, we can finally turn our focus to the true winner of the election: Four Seasons Total Landscaping

The woman-owned landscaping company, which was started in 1992 and offers a variety of services like mulching and 24/7 snow removal, found itself in the middle of a media frenzy when Trump announced a press conference at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia.

He later deleted the post and tweeted again, subsequently clarifying the location to a similarly named venue, Four Seasons Total Landscaping, not the famous swanky hotel chain.

It's still not entirely clear how the Trump campaign mistook the fancy hotel chain with the similarly named garden company nestled between a crematorium and a sex shop, but we can only presume someone from his team made a huge and hysterical mistake.

However this is not a political post.

We’re not here to debate left or right wing agendas, but rather turn our attention to how in a matter of four days a seemingly unknown family business somehow managed to see an opportunity in the midst of chaos and pivoted their business by rolling out patriotic-themed t-shirts, hoodies, masks and stickers with the catchphrases like “Make America Rake Again” and “Lawn and Order”. Completely selling out their merchandise on their website in a matter of 2 days.
